Entertaiment involves a range of activities that are important to individuals and societies. They include playing with others or alone; watching performances (8); and engaging in professional storytelling practices like the one told by Scheherazade in the Persian professional story tradition (13). These activities can have many different meanings and contexts. This makes them flexible and able to be remixed across different media, as shown by the way that stories have inspired orchestral music, film adaptations or innovative video games (16).
